Online Accessibility statement
This website has been designed and built with accessibility as a key priority.
All Australian government departments and agencies are obliged by the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 to ensure that online information and services are accessible by people with disabilities. Departments are also required to make online resources accessible to people with technical constraints, such as older browsers and slower internet connections.
The Water Market Information website meets these Australian government standards by incorporating all relevant priority one, most priority two and priority three requirements from the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
This website has been developed to display adequately on most commonly used browsers; however it is best displayed in Internet Explorer 7+. Although it is designed for a 1024 x 768 screen resolution, this site will scale to both higher and lower screen resolutions.
If, because of a disability, you are having difficulty accessing any online materials produced by the Bureau, please contact our Accessibility Officer and provide the following information:
- your contact details;
- the location of the page you are accessing;
- the operating system and browser version you are using;
- any other software you are using;
- the nature of the problem you are experiencing.
The Bureau's disability service will then make arrangements to provide you with the information you are seeking in an accessible manner.
