Northern Territory
A register of all water entitlements issued in the Northern Territory is available on the Department of Natural Resources, Environment, the Arts and Sport (NRETAS) web site. The register contains water contracts and market information, including trade rules and volumes.
Information about water allocation plans can also be found online. Each plan details the requirements for trade in the water allocation planning area.
Customers can also obtain water access entitlement (known as a water licence in the Northern Territory) information by contacting the NRETAS. A listing of licences within a water resource management unit can be provided to customers in hard copy.
