Information on water access entitlements (known as Water Access Licences in New South Wales and water allocations is held in the register managed by the Land and Property Management Authority (LPMA). For a nominal fee customers can obtain licence information or a listing of entitlements within an area from the register, either by an online search or by requesting a hard copy from the LPMA.
Water market information, such as water allocation and trade prices, is available to customers online via the Office of Water web based registers. These web based registers also allow customers to search for water use approvals and works approvals by approval number or land reference.
